[Solar team]

A few days ago, the solar team from TU Eindhoven visited us. Two solar-powered vehicles were used, including one for off-road driving. New braking systems were adapted and tested in the oval circuit during deceleration tests until they came to a standstill. Each solar car was accompanied by another vehicle with a safety team.

Our team is delighted: eight colleagues have successfully passed the exam for the "big" drone license. They spent four months preparing for it, first acquiring the "small" A1/A3 license and then learning theory, practicing flights and exchanging ideas in self-study. The team was supported on the day of the exam by the KopterZentrale company, which also conducted the exam. This further training measure for the A2 license was also financially supported by our company.

The Berufskolleg Jülich recently visited us at the Aldenhoven Testing Center. The classes that visited or will visit us on three dates are trainees in their 3rd year of training to become automotive mechatronics technicians. The young people had recently been studying driver assistance systems in class. Therefore, after a tour of the site, they were given explanations on how to test automated driving functions. Finally, each of the participants was allowed to perform an emergency braking maneuver with their own car on the ice-slick braking test track simulated with tiles.
