The final meeting of the Clusters4Future Hydrogen/ TP 7 - HyInnoICE took place at our Aldenhoven Testing Center.

After a welcome and a brief overview of the project, the the final work of the project partners was presented:

  • Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Conversion Systems,
  • Institute for Technical Combustion,
  • Institute of Control Engineering,
  • Ford Werke GmbH,
  • FEV Europe GmbH
  • and Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology.

After a lunch break, we took to the track with renewed energy. The Ford Kuga with its highly innovative hydrogen combustion engine could be test-driven on our oval. Another technology for sustainable mobility of the future was tested on our proving ground.

Industry partners were: Ford, FEV, Fraunhofer and Robert Bosch GmbH (associated). The project was coordinated by RWTH Aachen University. With the support of
