Driver qualification

The Aldenhoven Testing Center offers you ideal conditions for research, development and safeguarding of individual systems and full vehicles. In order to make your tests safe drivers need a proof of qualification to drive on our test site as well. This increases your safety and ensures the occupational safety of our employees on site. The Aldenhoven Testing Center offers various qualifications in cooperation with Driving Concept.

ATC Basic

1150.– €

  • 60 km/h +

  • Dynamic tests
  • Vehicles are provided
  • Approved by many test site operators

The training over one day for endurance tests, test drives over 60 km/h as well as dynamic tests. The ATC Basic qualification is recognised by many proving ground operators.

  • Safety in road tests
  • Driving physics correlations
  • Over/understeering
  • Discussion of the practical driving exercises

Practice

  • Slalom 18 m
    - individual increase of the driver's speed
  • Avoidance up to 130 km/h
    - with front/rear drive
  • Comparative braking 100 – 130 km/h
  • Double unbraked lane change at 75 – 95 km/h
    - with front/rear drive
  • Oversteer/understeer and braking in a curve
    - with front/rear drive
    - individual increase of the driver's speed

ATC Basic refresh

250.– €

  • 60 km/h +
  • ½ Day
  • 8 – 12 People
  • Dynamic tests
  • Own vehicle use
  • Approved by many test site operators

You are welcome to take advantage of our offer for a basic refresh course of approx. 4 hours at our premises. This will extend your existing ATC Basic test site qualification for a further three years. Recognition is the responsibility of the respective test site operators.

Practice

  • The trainings are subject to a profound evaluation of the riders.
  • Successful participation is confirmed with a certificate.
  • The training courses are based on the DVR e.V. guidelines.
  • We accept the basic qualifications of other proving grounds as long as they are not older than four (initial training) or three (follow-up training) years.
  • We offer these trainings on a regular basis. You invest for your safety.
  • If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will be offered again at a later date.
