Spring can't come soon enough for all two-wheel fans. This also applies to the members of various cycling clubs, who are welcome guests at our centre. No wonder, as many members of our team at the Aldenhoven Testing Centre are also passionate cyclists.
The European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) is known for its star rating of safety aspects in the event of an accident. For many years, the main focus has been on the phase before the accident, i.e. avoiding it or at least minimizing its consequences. Our proving ground offers the opportunity to carry out many tests according to these test protocols. Various track elements are available for testing standards for adult occupants and children, pedestrian protection and supporting safety systems.
In our region, carnival is traditionally celebrated with cheerful parades, dressing up and parties. Are you wearing a costume today and how are you celebrating? Or are you happy when the colorful hustle and bustle is over?
As the Aldenhoven Testing Center, it is important to us that we offer different routes on our proving ground so that we have a wide range on site. As a modern, interdisciplinary test center for mobility, twelve track elements allow us to simulate almost all situations from real traffic. This is essential for the research, development and validation of automotive systems and functions. We are also well positioned digitally with the Vodafone 5G Mobility Lab, digital maps and free high-speed internet.
On Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, 2024, we will once again be presenting vehicles, accessories and everything to do with cars and motorhomes together with you.
