We would also like to offer you a modern test environment in the future. That is why we are starting construction work this month.
First of all, for the cross approach to the new intersection. Through this you will be able to perform tests according to the current Euro NCAP protocols in the future. These include:
- Car-to-Car 2023 (CCC) and Car-to-Car Rear Stationary (CCR) - a collision where one vehicle moves forward towards another stationary vehicle and the front structure of the vehicle impacts the rear structure of the other.
- Lane Support System 2023 (incl. Road Edge) - a system that corrects the vehicle's course to keep the vehicle in its lane and/or warn the driver.
- Active Emergency Braking 2023 - the vehicle brakes automatically when an impending collision is detected to reduce speed and avoid the collision.
Later, a technically necessary resurfacing of the driving dynamics surface will also take place.
The new construction of the intersection was to be carried out largely without any restrictions on test operations. Only for the renewal of the driving dynamics surface, it must be taken out of operation for about two weeks.
We are endeavoring to minimize the impact of the construction work on regular test operations and any temporary closures of track elements that this may cause.
To keep you informed, we have set up a website where we will keep you up to date on current and upcoming construction work. Our team will also be happy to advise you.
