Voice control has become a standard in many new cars over the past years. Voice control or manual operation? The team from the German program "auto mobil" at VOX TV station investigated this question at the Aldenhoven Testing Center.

The categories tested were navigation, audio, everyday life and assistance. Traffic psychologist Stefan Ladwig, manager of the research area traffic psychology & acceptance at the Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) of RWTH Aachen University, examined driver distraction.

The Aldenhoven Testing Center is a joint venture of the district of Düren and RWTH Aachen University, which is open to all interested companies, especially SMEs and start-ups.
