New motorcycle targets are currently used for the Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Programme) test scenarios that will apply from 2023. Two-wheelers are also considered in the Vulnerable Road User (VRU) Protection test. Here, our test customers are looking at how the new tests can best be implemented at our Aldenhoven Testing Center.

Euro NCAP is known for its star rating of safety aspects in the event of an accident as well as for accident prevention. At our testing center in Aldenhoven there are numerous Euro NCAP possibilities. This means that various test scenarios can be carried out in our city environment and on our other routes:

  • AEB City (50 km/h)
  • AEB Inter-Urban (80 km/h)
  • AEB Pedestrian (35 km/h at night)
  • AEB Pedestrian (40 km/h)
  • AEB Pedestrian (50 km/h)
  • AEB Cyclist (40 km/h)
  • AEB Cyclist (60 km/h)
  • Lane Support Systems

If you test vehicles, you certainly know that weather can have an impact on test data. For this reason, the weather data you want to know is available directly on our home page - now also in a new, modern look! Data from the last five days and current conditions, including temperatures of air and asphalt, flow, precipitation and radiation, are measured and displayed on site. There is also a direct download option for weather data from previous days.
